In this workshop, we invite you to explore unique painting techniques using inks and powders that will truly set your imagination free. The vibrant colors that emerge will surprise and delight you, reminding you that there are no limits or restrictions when it comes to art. This class doesn’t involve traditional painting nor drawing so this is perfect for beginners and those who are not confident in drawing. All the art materials and refreshments will be provided for the duration of the session.
Detailed description:The unique and therapeutic process will naturally puts you in a mindful state, which pushes away any unhelpful or negative thoughts. We can incorporate images of mandala, which symbolizes universe, which expands to the individual level and everyone has their own universe within their own mind. Let your art be a reminder of your importance within your own universe.
I am Chihiro, born and raised in Tokyo and have always enjoyed art, particularly manga and anime. After obtaining a degree in Psychology in England, I worked as a home tutor in Tokyo until I had my children. Now I am back in England, juggling the responsibilities of being a mother to three children and two cats. There was a time when I felt like my only worth was as a mother but art has not only helped me discover my hidden ability as an artist, but made the connection between me and the children stronger. I’ve met so many women who prioritize others and neglect their own needs, just like I used to. That’s why I want to use my art to remind them of their worth and share the healing power of art through my workshops.
I host this workshop in the cozy room at the Yoga and Welness Rooms in Shoreham by sea but I can travel to your place for a private workshop around Brighton - Worthing area on request.
