Absolutely everyone can make amazing sneakers. -You don't need to be a creative, designer or a fashion student. Participants finish their workshops with unique sneakers they can be proud of and skills to continue their making journey.
Detailed description:Make your very own sneakers! In our workshops students are get to make amazing products out of reclaimed leather and learn a lot about the leather industry and what it takes to make a leather product as well as a host of skills along the way. What will you do? -Decide on your shoe style -Cut the pattern -Design any details -Choose and cut leathers -Understand construction -Learn to hand stitch leather -Assemble your shoes The end result is a unique tote bag, made with leather that will last for life, lots of knowledge about the leather industry and sustainability issues and a super fun day.
Hi! My name is Eli. I have been hosting workshops for 6 years and have a qualification in adult education. I love running workshops because I love to help people make amazing things. And I absolutely love footwear.
A lovely workshop, in a Victorian coach house on a mews with other creative workshops and a fabulous coffee shop.

Guests need to send their shoe sizes early, three weeks in advance, as I may need to order the right size sole if it is not in stock. Alternatively they can check with me first.
