About the experience

Experience Duration : 3 hrs
Experience Summary:

Enjoy a walking tour of famous London landmarks with a professional photographer who has worked in and around this great city for over 30 years. Get tips and expert advice on how and where to get the best shots of places like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge etc., and also learn a little history of each of the locations. This is a walking tour in one of the greatest cities in the world that you will remember, with stunning photos taken by yourself that most tourists would miss.

Detailed description:

We'll meet in front of Buckingham Palace, the London residence of British monarchs since Queen Victoria. Then it's time for some tips on taking the best shots/selfies and a bit of the history of the building. We'll then walk down the Mall to Trafalgar Square with the famous Nelson's Column, and from there down Whitehall towards The Houses of Parliament, passing Downing Street, home of the British Prime Minister. In Parliament Square, there will be an opportunity to take shots of Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) and Westminster Abbey, where for 1000 years, British monarchs have been crowned. A stroll over Westminster Bridge will take us to the London Eye and present more photo opportunities. We'll then walk along the Thames to Tower Bridge, passing the Tate Modern with a great view of St Pauls Cathedral, Shakespeares Globe Theatre, The Shard (Western Europe's tallest building) and HMS Belfast, which took part in the D-Day landings in 1944. Finally, we'll walk over Tower Bridge to the Tower of London, built in 1078 by William the Conqueror, with time for more shots of the various vistas from the north side of the Thames.

At any point on the route, I will take photos of you in front of any of the landmarks with my own camera (to be uploaded on a private gallery later) and also, if you want, with their own camera/phone.

This walking tutorial tour will last approx 2-3 hours, and you are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and, as it's England, bring an umbrella!
