In this candle making class, you will learn how to create your very own scented soy candles, all while immersing yourself in the calming and tranquil atmosphere of our workshop. No previous experience is needed, so don’t worry if you’ve never heard of candle making before. We’re here to guide you every step of the way!
Detailed description:Whether you're looking for unique gifts for everyone on your list or you're keen to treat yourself to some calming crafts, join Fire Nest Candles for a relaxing experience learning how to make your own luxury fragranced wooden wick candle. Made with soy wax, your creation will last longer and burn slower.
Over the course of two hours, you'll learn each step of creating a duo of enticing candles from a friendly expert. Starting with learning a bit about the benefits of soy wax, you'll choose from a range of different fragrances to suit your preference, as well as finishing your candle with an assortment of dried botanicals. Then it'll be time to get hands-on as you create your candle! From blending the fragrance and pouring the wax to making sure the wick is set, you'll be guided through the process step by step, so no worries about getting in over your head.
You'll also pick up some helpful candle care tips and advice to help you get the most out of your creation. By the end of this immersive and relaxing experience, you'll have learned the fundamentals of a new craft and have created a pair of gorgeous, sustainable candles to take home with you.
Hi, my names Phoebe! I run Fire Nest alongside my partner Will, we run a variety of different Craft Workshops including Candle Making, Pottery Hand-Building, Bath Bomb Making, Perfumery and much more. As long as hosting Workshops, we also offer Hand-Crafted At Home Craft Kits and hand-made products. We have been running Fire Nest since 2019, and within 5 months of running our business we both decided to take the leap to go full-time due to the demand and it was the best decision we've ever made! We look forward to hosting for you.
We host our Workshops from a few different locations. For small groups of up to 6 people, we host them in our Home Studio based in Kempston, Bedfordshire. For groups larger than 10, we host these in the quaint village of Stagsden at Stagsden Village Hall.
We do also offer Private Workshops where we can come to your home to host for a group of 2+ within the Bedfordshire area. We are happy to travel further, but we will charge a small mileage fee per mile.
