Are you a crafter, maker or sewer? Perhaps you are not, but wouldn’t mind giving it a go? Our classes are for absolutely everyone - you don't need to be a creative, designer or artist to give it a go. They take place in beautiful Victorian coach houses right in the heart of the city. Our patterns are easy to navigate and I am at hand to walk you through using different tools every step of the way. Students finish their workshops with unique products they can be proud of and skills to continue their making journey.Detailed description:
Creating an actual physical product that you can use is special. In our workshops students are get to make amazing products out of reclaimed luxury materials and learn a lot about the leather industry and what it takes to make a leather product as well as a host of skills along the way. Students will: 1) Choose leather colours. 2) Discover techniques for working with leather. 3) Choose and fit hardware. The end result is a unique yet classic shoulder bag that will last for life, lots of knowledge about the leather industry and sustainability issues and a super fun day.
Hi there! I'm Eli, I've been running workshops for over 10 years and absolutely love hosting and meeting people. My workshops are always fun, and I'm really conscientious about student's experience and the final products that they make.
My studio is located really centrally, on a row of Victorian coach houses which is also home to many other crafter and maker workshops.
