Learn to play the steelpan with a group of up to 15 friends or work colleagues with the world-renowned Mangrove Steelband. A 1-hour fun packed workshop where you will learn the basics of playing and a short tune. With an enormous following of supporters Mangrove are one of the largest/most travelled and most professional Steelbands in Britain and Eleven times winners of Panorama, the UK’s National Steel pan competition. The workshops will be held at the bands home, The Tabernacle in the heart of Notting Hill.
The Mangrove Steelband is the most established Steelband in Notting Hill Since 1980 the organisation has been teaching the art of playing the steelpans.
