With small class sizes, you'll enjoy plenty of one-to-one attention in a calming, meditative atmosphere. Walk away feeling empowered to extend the life of your garments for years to come.

Detailed description:

Embark on a journey through the history and technique of darning in our immersive workshop. Delve into the cultural significance of textile repair, from the Japanese art of Boro to the Indian tradition of Kantha. Led by Emma, you'll explore vintage and modern tools before diving into hands-on practice. Learn to create a classic woven darn on a swatch of knitted fabric using horizontal stitches, followed by vertical stitches that weave into them, then apply your newfound skills to your own clothing. Located in the vibrant community space of Florentia Clothing Village, our workshop promises a nurturing environment for learning and creativity.
