You will spend the afternoon foraging with an expert in Hackney, where you can find anything from the expected wild garlic, mushroom and berries to the more surprising kiwi and wild plums and much more. Your forager has spent years running and creating in some of the best cocktail bars in the country and so will include tips and guides on using these to make syrups & detailed explanation on sustainable practises you can achieve at home like fermentation, pickling, fat washing and citrus blends to turn waste into delicious possibilities. Feel free to ask away in this exciting and ever changing experience, where no adventure is ever the same as the last.
After you've collected some ingrediants, you will then be taken to the world renowned Silo restaurant in Hackney Wick where a 6 course tasting menu of the finest local ingrediants will ignite your taste buds and fire your imagination for your own creations.
