Alcohol ink is a vibrant, fast drying, dye-based ink. Alcohol ink is ideal for creating abstract images, as the drying of the ink can be controlled with heat and the delicate blowing of air across the surface. Working with alcohol ink is a therapeutic and relaxing experience that allows you to express your creativity. The process is freeform and unpredictable, which means that patterns and imperfections will emerge as you work. However, these imperfections often lead to the creation of stunning and unique art pieces, making the process even more rewarding.
Detailed description:All the materials needed for the class will be provided and you can take the finished art pieces home with you. Refreshments will be provided too. It can be very messy so please make sure everything important is covered and protected!
I am Chihiro, born and raised in Tokyo and have always enjoyed art, particularly manga and anime. After obtaining a degree in Psychology in England, I worked as a home tutor in Tokyo until I had my children. Now I am back in England, juggling the responsibilities of being a mother to three children and two cats. There was a time when I felt like my only worth was as a mother but art has not only helped me discover my hidden ability as an artist, but made the connection between me and the children stronger. I’ve met so many women who prioritize others and neglect their own needs, just like I used to. That’s why I want to use my art to remind them of their worth and share the healing power of art through my workshops.
I run workshops at the lovely cozy room in the Yoga and Wellness Rooms in Shoreham by sea but I can travel to your place around Brighton - Worthing area on request for a private workshop.

It can be very messy and the ink can stain your skin and clothes. Please cover them if you want to keep them clean.
