It’s also a chance to meet a diverse group of running buddies, often joined by guests from around the world. Welcome to the the perfect mix of sport & culture!

Detailed description:

Sunrise is the most peaceful time of day to explore London, without the hustle & bustle. Meeting at Primrose Hill,  which provides some of the best possible views of London, we start with light warm-up exercises to stretch sleepy morning bodies & minds. With the skyline as our beautiful backdrop, you’ll see iconic architecture such as The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Canary Wharf & The Shard. With the London Zoo’s aviary at the foot of the hill - prepare for a literal bird eyes view of the city!

We then run through Primrose, along the Canal and into Regent’s park. Discover the flower blooms of The Rose & Queen Anne’s gardens, the Open-Air Theatre, Boating Lake & plenty of fountains & city wildlife as you run. Two hosts means  that if you want to pick up or slow the pace, one of us will take a breather (or try keep up!) with you.

About the host

We’re Santi & Rebecca, fitness friends who met training for the 2015 London Marathon. We’ve successfully run it together each year since. Having each other as running partners is great for company, fitness motivation and for encouragement to get out of bed on cold winter mornings!

We’ve learned so much from one another about fitness, London’s hidden running routes, but also each other’s wider interests and different cultural backgrounds. Santi moved here from Madrid for work in Fashion five years ago and Rebecca stayed in the city after moving from Manchester to study History seven years ago. Our different passions, hobbies & backgrounds means we’ve opened our eyes to more individually through each other.

Our mutual love for running is what brought us together, so we know the power that shared interests has to connect people from different walks - or runs! of life.

When we both moved to London, running was a brilliant way to discover places to enjoy the outdoors, as well as see & feel the city away from tourist hotspots (where exercise is pretty impossible!) This combination is rare to find in London, but after discovering some routes, we’re now perfecting even more to offer guests in the near future!
